How Covid-19 Has Affected Education

           How Covid Really Affect Education

Hello friends myself Chirayu Krishna and In this article i am going to talk about the affect of covid on education aur indirectly it is pointing out the changes that occured in our education system. So if you like my blog so please dont forget to comment and express your views.

Firstly we should know the simple definition of covid-19 so covid- 19  is an infectious disease which is caused by a newly discovered Coronavirus. It has no specified symptoms and it is nearly impossible to distinguish between healthy person and person who is affected with covid-19. It spread all over the world and many believes that this disease was originated from wuhan in China which later become a pandemic for all of us. In recent times, the case of covid infected person has reached its height and almost more than 10 crores people has been detected in nearly every country. But in 2020-21 we have many vaccines getting prepared and soon we will get victory over this pandemic disease.

Now lets talk how covid has affected education so Covid-19 has made a great impact on our indian education system and in a positive and negative way both. Firstly talking about its negative impact so many schools were closed and education was none for many months and new changes that we observe was the shifting of our system from offline to online. However all the schools could not adapt in this environment unfortunately because there were no presence of modern technologies. There were just a blackboard and teacher used to teach student face to face but teachers could not arrange online classes for children due to money crisis and other major reasons.

Now lets talk about schools who were able to provide online classes to their students but does it become successful lets find out?

The schools who were able to provide online classes to students faced many difficulties as the environment was new and it took many days for teachers and student to get habituated for this environment but online classes seems to be failed as comparison to offline classes for many reasons.

The major reason was the students behaviour and their attitude towards online classes as classes were being conducted online, students used to bunk the online classes by putting themselves on hold and start doing something else. Teachers could not stop them as it was not offline matter and secondly students face network issues which affect them badly as poor children who hardly arranged phones for classes were affected due to networks or some other issues like background disturbance etc. Also during lockdown period exams was conducted online which affected students honesty level and made them reliable on internet rather than their own hard work. So overall covid affected education in a very negative way it could.

However with disadvantages their are advantages also of covid on our education system rules for students. Students who were pressurized for their mid term and final exams got some relief when Education system got changed and new education policy was established. According to this new policy some of the chapters from different subjects like maths ,english, sst, science etc was removed or reduced which reduces the pressure from students and give them a little spark of light in this dark period. Secondly Covid-19 also taught students a most important lesson that when any extreme situation come, we have to fight back.

I hope you like my blog so please share it to everyone so that they can also get some knowledge so thank you.
